We are here to help our Remote Communities throughout Cape York & Gulf Regions!
Black Star Radio proudly serves our remote communities by bringing the latest music, news, events and information that is relevant to Far North Queensland remotes and rural communities.

QRAM would like to invite you to check out and use the eSafety resources we’ve developed with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and other community members from remote communities.
The Stayin’ eSafe: keeping ourselves, our families and our communities safe online project, funded by the eSafety Online Safety Grants Program, has produced a unique series of eight audio segments and six animations.
The animations feature Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artwork created by Rachael Sarra, and the animations and audio segments feature the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander narrators and are based on concepts developed by community members themselves.
Each resource addresses a key online safety issue faced by young people from remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
We hope you’ll check them out, share them, broadcast them, and use them to help promote better online safety for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
We love getting out and about in the community.
Here's a few pics from some of the events we've attended.
